Art lovers in Sheboygan have a unique place to explore creativity and local talent at Impressions Fine Art Gallery. Located on the third floor overlooking the lobby at 725 Blue Harbor Drive, this gallery offers more than just art on the walls. It is a vibrant hub for artists and the community, providing a space where creativity thrives and connections grow.

A Gallery with a Unique Vision

Impressions Fine Art Gallery stands apart from traditional galleries by offering a fresh approach to exhibiting art. Instead of constant displays, the gallery hosts four major exhibitions each year. Alongside these, the Art Parkway and Showcase Place locations present six additional shows annually. This means visitors can experience ten distinct art events every year, each designed to highlight different artistic voices and styles.

This approach keeps the gallery dynamic and engaging, encouraging visitors to return often and discover new works. The gallery’s focus on quality and variety supports a wide range of artists from across Wisconsin, showcasing over 40 state-wide talents since its opening.

Origins and Community Connection

The gallery began as an idea from Mary Grady, a local artist and Artist in Residence at Blue Harbor. When Blue Harbor Resort management offered a conference room as a temporary gallery space, Impressions opened its doors in June 2025. The positive response from both the Sheboygan art community and resort guests led to making the gallery a permanent fixture.

Impressions is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and operates independently, though it works closely with Blue Harbor. It is membership-driven, which means local artists and supporters play an active role in shaping its future.

Supporting Artists and the Community

Impressions is more than a gallery. It serves as an artist support network, offering monthly workshops that attract both residents and visitors. These workshops provide hands-on opportunities to learn new techniques and connect with other creatives.

The gallery also curates and promotes visual arts in satellite locations, expanding its reach beyond the main space. This multi-faceted approach helps build a stronger creative community in Sheboygan and supports artists in various ways, from exhibition opportunities to professional development.
